Solar Panel Installation

This project was completed for a long term customer who we have worked together with for over 10 years completing various projects and ongoing maintenance within their business.

This project was completed with our renewable energy partners CK Energy.

It was completed as a turn key package from planning permission, grid connection, design, ground works, installation, commissioning and security.

Once planning permission was granted a G99 application was submitted to gain permission for a 200kva grid connection which included the diversion of an over head 11kv line to underground and a new pole mounted transformer serving a 400amp cable head in a purpose built switch gear room.

Foundations were dug, poured and a bespoke ground mount kit was manufactured and installed.

432 x 500watt panels were installed feeding back to 2 x Solis 100kw three phase inverters providing 180,675 units per year solely for export. Turning unused farm land into a means of low maintenance income.

Complete electrical installation of a 400amp MCCB distribution board complete with type 2 surge protection and all associated wiring within the switchgear room powering inverters, lighting, CCTV and general power.

CCTV was fitted by our fire and security partners Saxen security providing 24hr monitoring of the site with instantaneous notifications.

Fully compliant and certified to relevant standards and formally inspected during our annual NICEIC audit.
